The Space
This renovated 1920's federation home has undergone a complete transformation resulting in a stunning Australian take on the Hamptons look. The impressive extension has allowed for the creation of a light-filled coastal haven. Whilst many original features were maintained and restored, the owners were able to design and build an incredible double-storey extension in keeping with the original house. At ground level, the house splits between new and old, with the lower front level being lovingly resorted.
To the rear of the house, a spacious kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted, tongue-and-groove ceiling has been added. The two tone kitchen cabinetry beautifully complements the oak engineered floorboard, whilst the brick-laid subway tiles add a traditional feel. Featuring light walls, warm timber and rustic natural textures throughout, this location retains some formality but with a casual edge. Sunset scenes can be captured from spacious deck making this the perfect Northers Beaches beauty for light and breezy shoots or productions.
