The Space

Anything but ordinary, this underground dugout hidden in the hills features views that are so beautiful it's hard to look away. With it's stunning slate facade, it is dug into the side of a hill which gives it an incredible view over the outback plains. The front room and bathroom are above ground with the rest of the living areas underground. Underground is rock painted white, highlighting beautiful natural archways that reflect the light. It has an old mine shaft that is a skylight filling the open plan areas with lots of natural light.

Featuring beautiful old wood doorways at the entrance and a 1970's kitchen, there are lots of lovely little quirks to discover. The front bedroom is the perfect example of a cave. Old mining tunnels out the back include an old room with a dirt floor and raw rock walls that used to be an old bedroom and is still in its original state. There is trace opal in the walls of the old drives and the tunnels go for two levels. The surrounding environment has the feel of a moonscape with the opal field, old mineshafts and the tiny underground township. Be transported to another world with this unique, little piece of magic for your next production.
