The Jackaroo
Fernances Crossing, NSW, Australia
The Space
The Jackaroo is a unique rammed-earth home set across 50 acres of eucalypt forest, rolling paddocks, and dramatic sandstone outcrops. Bordering Yengo National Park, the property offers exceptional privacy and a truly authentic Australian backdrop, with native birds and wildlife as the only natural interruptions.
The location supports a wide range of production needs, offering multiple shooting zones and diverse landscapes within one site. Its scale allows for large crew accommodation and operations, making it well suited to film, television, advertising, and editorial shoots.
The property also operates as a short term accommodation and shoot-and-stay location, with options including a three bedroom house, a private camping paddock, and elevated Tentsile tree tents set among the canopy.
On-site medical support is available, along with operational guidance from a 15 year Rural Fire Service veteran, ensuring safety and preparedness for remote or large-scale productions.
Credits to date: Site Unseen (post-production), scheduled for release in 2026.
With expansive views, natural textures, and multiple scenic backdrops, The Jackaroo offers a rare, versatile setting for productions seeking an unmistakably Australian landscape.
