The Collective

A converted warehouse studio and event space in Melbourne's northern inner city, spanning 420 square metres across two distinct studios. By day the space is flooded with natural light through steel framed factory windows — by night, festoon lighting shifts the atmosphere entirely, making it one of the more versatile creative venues in the area.

Studio 1 is the main floor — 330 square metres of open, column free space anchored by a large cyclorama (7m wide, 8m deep, 3.5m high) and black polished concrete underfoot. The scale allows for generous set builds, runway configurations, product launches and large production setups. Drive in access at 2.6m wide and 3.6m high makes load in straightforward for larger productions.

Studio 2 is a quieter, more controlled environment with a north facing frosted glass window delivering soft, consistent natural light throughout the day, well suited to food shoots, portrait work and smaller fashion productions.

Shared facilities include a client lounge and production area, a private garden, Sonos sound system, super fast wifi and a full complement of grip and styling equipment included in the hire. Additional lighting, wall flats, plinths and flooring styles are available on request.
